With the west coast undergoing redevelopment in the hip-hop game, Kev Da Khemist has made it his mission to bring back that heat California has been missing for years and spread the sound around the world.
Da Khemist is a music producer/recording engineer/arranger & composer. Incorporating live musicians with vinyl records and pro-tools experience, Kev is creating a sound of his own that can only be described as hard-hitting, dynamic and soulful. Putting in many years and sleepless nights in his studio, The Black Box, Da Khemist continues to contribute to an ever evolving hip-hop scene.
Kev Da Khemist is currently in the LAb with former Interscope artist Omar Cruz, Young B The Future (Black Card Boys), Phenom (Track Addicts), Alta Money Gang (BT Lucci, B Green & GT), Cali Coast Guard (Wyze Randal, Count & GB) & upcoming hip-hop artist Jevon (Hood Kings).
Aside from working with recording artists Kev has now taken his productions and incorporated them into a beat set with visuals, contributing a new element to hip-hop.
Don't call it "New WEST", more like "Music At It's BEST".
